How Conan O’Brien & I Helped Raise $30,000 for Art Students (and you can too)

2015-secret-art-show-artworkBurbank Arts For All is a California nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every child in the Burbank School District has access to art education.

Every year, BAFA hosts a Secret Art Show; where artists all over the world send in small pieces of original art for a blind, $40 flat fee auction. The buyers have no idea who the artist is until they purchase a piece. This year we raised over $30,000 on opening night alone!

There are some really awesome and inspiring artists who also participate in the Secret Art Show. It was a pleasure and an honor to have my work displayed with work from these guys and many other talented and creative people!

  • Conan O’Brien
  • Andy Richter
  • Ryan Reynolds
  • Stephen Hillenburg
  • Joe Mantegna
  • Ana Bagayan
  • Frank Dietz
  • Jim Henson’s Creature Shop
  • Artists from Warner Bros, Disney and Nickelodeon

So, to all you artists out there… If you can paint, draw, color, or slap some stuff on a 4 inch X 6 inch card, you too can help BAFA raise money for the mere cost of your time and a stamp to send your art to their studio! This is a wonderful, easy way to help raise money for a great cause. If I was denied a chance to take creative classes in school, I would probably not be where I am today.

Plus, you get to shamelessly brag about being in a group Secret Art Show with lots of really talented people. Get in touch with BAFA and send them some of your original artwork for next year!
